Understanding IT-Outsourcing

The purpose of the book is to provide a deep understanding of the theories underpinning the logic of IT outsourcing. In doing so, the book brings to the reader the basic premises underlying the theory and practice of IT outsourcing. It proceeds on the assumption that the reader – albeit a student or a manager – is fairly versed in the basics of information technology, management and organisation theories. Understanding IT Outsourcing is appropriate for courses in information technology, organisation theory and management at university level or managers wanting to know more about IT outsourcing.
