In this fifth edition, we have updated the criteria for UIP pattern and revised the chapter about Hypersensitivity pneumonitis. Otherwise, there are only minor changes. Carl Lamm (MD) has been a senior specialist in thoracic radiology at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden, for more than 30 years. His highly regarded lectures on HRCT have been the inspiration for this book.
