Beneath the waters of the Baltic Sea lies a hidden wealth of culture. Thousands of years of human actvity along coastlines and waterways have left behind many remains, including shipwrecks, flooded Stone Age settlements, harbours, navigation blockages and much more. Through them, we gain a better understanding of how people lived on and near the sea in various eras.
