The book describes the employment law system in Denmark, Norway and Sweden and the classic situations of employment law from the period prior to employment, the actual employment itself, termination of employment and the duties and obligations after the employment has been terminated. It is supplemented by a dictionary giving the Scandinavian counterparts of English terms. It deals with traditional individual employment law, but it also includes references to collective employment law in the private sector. The book is written especially for HR departments, HR lawyers and others dealing with employment law across the borders of Denmark, Norway and Sweden.
