Green Arguments and Local Subsistence

Environmentalist discourse has become a prominent feature of international cooperation and an almost universal asset which can be mobilised in local level politics. This book attempts to illustrate some of the varying ways that “green” arguments have been used to the benefit or disadvantage of local subsistence producers in economically peripheral societies.
