The algorithm includes all the patterns used to describe relevant HRCT findings and differential diagnosis. The book also includes a disease overview illustrated with lots of images and clinical examples. In this fourth edition, we have added a new chapter on progressive fibrosing interstitial lung diseases and revised the chapter on systemic rheumatoid diseases. Otherwise, there are minor changes. Carl Lamm (MD) has been a senior specialist in thoracic radiology at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden, for more than 30 years. His highly regarded lectures on HRCT have been the inspiration for this book. Fredrik Ahlfors (MD) has worked as a radiologist for 17 years, including seven years at Sahlgrenska University Hospital in Gothenburg, Sweden. He is also a fiction writer.
